I initially thought this would be a pretty dull prompt, but after thinking about it, I have a somewhat unique perspective to share. You see, I DO have a favorite month. Me and my kiddo do, actually.
And that is: November. Why?
October is when we hide away. When you have a little guy who has only been alive for three years, he can be pretty tiny. And when you’re tiny, it’s very difficult to go into a store with giant, scary monsters.
In October, we have to change our routines. There is too much spookiness for a little one. The Halloween displays aren’t just spooky: they engage the fear/survival/instinct in children. My little one yelps and clings to me. He refuses to look (and I don’t blame him).
So in November, we reemerge :-] We see our favorite cashiers again. We can walk into a store, confident that nothing will get us.

Except maybe the oversized nut crackers. Those are still hard to walk by!
Take care,
Dear Quiet
