Today is Saturday, and for the first time in about three weeks: nobody is sick! No one has or is recovering from a cold, or a bug, or the sniffles. So I’m hoping today will be a sweet day :-]

All I want to do is play and cuddle with my family. I’m leaving my phone upstairs. I want to be away from it and everything it represents and everything it reminds me of.

We might go to a playground or not: depends on the weather. What I do know is that we’ll be enjoying some good food. I think it’s time me and my child make banana bread. Do you know what our secret is? We add yogurt to the mix.

.sigh. I want this simplicity for us today. I want the joy of family.
