Christmas is Almost Here

I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season, from Thanksgiving to the upcoming Christmas day and into the New Year! 2026… already… Can you believe it?

Just the other day, my child had his first school event – ever! Him and all the other preschoolers sang Christmas songs for all the parents. It was as cute and chaotic as you can imagine :-]

Then we all had brunch. Or should I say, the adults had brunch and the picky eaters hardly ate anything. Haha

💎

It’s been a warm winter for us. We’ve had two days of snow, earlier this month, and that’s about it. That’s very unusual for where we live. Hopefully the snow will come soon!

We’ve decided to let our Christmas be relaxed. We’ll be spending time at home. No traveling this year, and our family can’t come see us either this year (due to health reasons, unfortunately). Hopefully, it will be a pretty good, ordinary Christmas day.

💎

We actually didn’t purchase a lot of presents this year, either. There’s a sort of magic about Christmas that no amount of gifts, traveling, or busyness can buy.

We’ll be exchanging small gifts. We’re just so grateful for all of our blessings, year-round. I know, it sounds corny and cliche, but it’s so true :-]

If I don’t see you again before the new year…

MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄

Take care,
Dear Quiet

Hi there, it’s that special time of year that being Christmas time and I am sending this email to wish you a wonderful Christmas.

However, you spend the day, be it with family or friends or home alone just chilling with your pet and the TV as long as you are happy and feel loved, appreciated and not to stressed.

Remember to think of yourself and not just others it is far too easy for some of us to forget about our own wellbeing and our state of mind. Stressing over a meal or if you bought someone the right gift, isn’t important, if something goes wrong just laugh it off.

When it comes to giving gifts, it isn’t about the cost or the amount of gifts, if someone feels they are being hard done by it is their problem not yours.

Lastly, I wish you quiet moments with those you care about and a safe and happy time.
