I Was Speaking Into the Void and Couldn’t Find Your Blog

A few weeks back, I made a blog expressing how it felt to write and have it go into a void. Nobody was reading or liking my posts.

And I know I’m not the most exciting blogger, but I found the extreme solitude weird.

Turns out, my website was opted out of the Reader. Reader is where most WordPress users find and read blogs.

Oops! I did a chat with the Happiness Engineers at WordPress and they fixed that issue for me. Now I get more views and likes (not many, but enough to tell me I’m now visible on Reader).

💎

And also… I had subscribed to some of your blogs, then I thought, “Huh, they don’t blog very often.” I looked into this and… again, it was a bit of a glitch that I didn’t know about.

Sure, I was subscribed to your blogs, but I hadn’t subscribed-subscribed to your blogs on the Reader (don’t ask me what the difference is, I have no idea!).

So, I found yet another subscribe button on the Reader part of WordPress (on my desktop) and subscribed to my favorite blogs from there.

Phew! I don’t think I’m super behind when it comes to technology, but WordPress sure confused me on this one.

Now hopefully you can see my blog, and I can see your blog, and we can do this blogging thing together. Otherwise, what’s the point? haha

Take care,
Dear Quiet

There is still an issue I guess. I can comment on your stuff. But there should be a star on underneath your post right next to the comment and there is not which means I can’t like your post from the reader.
