Happy Thanksgiving! I hope your holiday has shaped up to be a wonderful day full of good food, family, and love. I wanted to take a little break from the day to come tell you that :-]

Our Thanksgiving has been very mellow. Our family is small, so there was no scrambling to fix up guest rooms. No traveling. No making tons of food for everyone to eat.

We cooked gumbo, then had tiramisu. Were we the only people in the world to have that combination on Thanksgiving? Probably!

It was very delicious, and I’m so grateful for our lives.

My family, although small, is doing really well. We’re all in a good place in life, our health has been very good this year, and all our needs are taken care of.

There’s really nothing else I could ask for.

Well, time for me to join my family again. I hope your day continues to be a happy and fun one. And if it hasn’t been, I hope you see a turnaround today!
